![]() I just sat there and watched the light show!!! LOL. It won't do it if I go over a speed bump, but if I hit a divit just enough to jar the truck it will do it. it could be a bad inverter - these clusters use EL panels to backlight the gauges (it takes 12VDC and steps it up to 75VAC to power the EL panel). I have this issue that when I am driving the dash cluster (speedometer and rpm gauge) flicker but dont turn off. Weird electrical issue on C4 Corvette: dash/gauges flickering, but with a twist. What gives? light bulbs or LEDs to brighten the instruments, and After initial warm up (ussualy few minutes) dush board control lights and gauges go on and off and after a while everything on board start flickering and after some time all gauges go on zero and control lights are totaly dead. 15 miles and pulled over The dash, or instrument cluster, has a ground at the top of the cluster to the dash for ground. If your instrument panel is flickering, it's likely not a problem with the dash lights at all. ![]()
